Michael Jason Francis was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. A self proclaimed “failed comic book writer and illustrator”, took up martial arts and acting as a way to cope with his lack of “needing a secret identity.” A Boy Scout and amateur magician, Michael’s life was forever changed after being introduced to the films of Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton in high school. When asked about their influence, Michael would say, “After seeing those two reel comedies, and what Keaton and Chaplin would sacrifice for their art, I was hooked. I knew the path I must take.” When not acting, Michael Jason Francis is the Chief Instructor of White Tiger Martial Arts in Los Angeles and training for his 3rd Dan Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo.
