Nerdy and Deep theatre for Hollywood Fringe 2018

MB Stage Productions (Los Angeles, CA), announces two new productions to premiere at the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2018 as part of their Nerds Gone Deep and Nerd Theatre series.

 

The Nerds Gone Deep series will consist of plays that present powerful and thought provoking messages. More in-line with that is considered “traditional theatre” with a little of that something extra on the side. These performances are intended to be re-inventions of ideas with modern day or innovative twists. Covering anything from ‘“straight plays”, dance pieces, musicals and more. The first in this series will be the WORLD PREMIERE production of Just One Moment  written by: David Evan Stolworthy (more information at justonemomentplay.com).

The Nerd Theatre series which was borne out of the numerous productions of THE VIDEO GAMES, will offer performances that are interactive, have a connection to pop culture and push traditional theatrical boundaries. The term ‘Nerd’ can mean so many things the possibilities are wide open. Nerd Theatre will open with the WORLD PREMIERE production of MB Stage’s new immersive and interactive piece THE STUDY created by: David Evan Stolworthy and Jared Tyrel Pixler (more information at thestudyplay.com).

MB Stage has been a participant in the Hollywood Fringe Festival since 2013. They are an award winning theatre company, that has toured, ran performances Off-Broadway, are members of the Theatrical Producers League of Los Angeles and the California Educational Theatre Association.
