MB Stage Productions (Los Angeles, CA), tickets are now on sale for Just One Moment and THE STUDY. To premiere at the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2018 with performances during the month of June. First in a series of productions in their Nerds Gone Deep and Nerd Theatre series.

The Nerds Gone Deep series consists of plays that present powerful and thought provoking messages. With performances are intended to be re-inventions of ideas with modern day or innovative twists. Covering anything from ‘“straight plays”, dance pieces, musicals and more. The first in the series will be the WORLD PREMIERE production of Just One Moment  written by: David Evan Stolworthy. Just One Moment, takes place in The Afterlife Assistance Center a call center in Purgatory, where while waiting for our results, we are forced to do the same mundane jobs that we had on Earth. What happens when our deepest expectations of the afterlife are turned upside down? Who do you go to for help? All calls are routed to the Afterlife Assistance Center where we quickly learn everything can change in just one moment.

The Nerd Theatre series which was borne the award winning production of THE VIDEO GAMES (thevideogamesplay.com), will offer performances that are interactive, have a connection to pop culture and push traditional theatrical boundaries. Nerd Theatre will open with the WORLD PREMIERE of MB Stage’s new immersive and interactive piece THE STUDY created by: David Evan Stolworthy and Jared Tyrel Pixler. THE STUDY takes place during a psychological clinical test of the flight-or-fight response set in a college lecture hall. The audience’s reactions and answers determine the outcome of each performance; in this immersive, audience-interactive, video game and theatre-inspired piece.
