The Video Games is closing!

MB Stage Productions announces the closing performances of the THE VIDEO GAMES. The final performances will include audience giveaways, special merchandise, new video projections and set pieces. Assistant Producer, Katie Lynn Mapel said “It was time for the show to close so that we can focus on upcoming projects.” Jared and David (Producers) are currently working on a new interactive piece to premiere later this year along with a new play written by, Stolworthy. “With the show running it was impossible for us to fully commit to new works, this will give us a way to end the show on our terms and premier some new things we’ve been working on.” said Stolworthy. Pixler added “We’ve learned so much from THE VIDEO GAMES and we really think you’ll like what we have come up with next.” David Evan Stolworthy will continue to write while Jared Tyrel Pixler will focus more on creation and direction. The entire team at MB Stage Productions would like to express their gratitude to the audiences and casts of THE VIDEO GAMES the last three years. Mapel closed with “It has truly been a unique experience!”.

THE VIDEO GAMES is an audience interactive comedy with loads of stage combat that places popular video games characters against one another in a Hunger Games-esque battle to the death. The audience gets to vote for their favorite characters using their smartphones, interacting with actors and live voting during the show. See multiple storylines unfold, resolve or get cut tragically short, no two performances are exactly the same.
